Did You Know ...

Maysville is the youngest chartered and the largest town in Jones County.  It is located near the northern boundary of Onslow County and the southern boundary of Jones County on the White Oak River.  Maysville was named for the May family and was previously known as "Cross Road."  Other fun facts and a variety of services and materials can be found at the Maysville Branch Library located at 605 Seventh St.  The hours of operation are Monday, 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Wednesday and Friday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  For more information, please call (910)743-3796.
