Crochet Classes- Thursdays in September at 12:00 p.m.
Spend your lunch hour learning to crochet. Join us in the Brody Conference Room of
the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library to learn this versatile skill with veteran
crochet instructor Jeraldine Hill. Participants will need to bring a skein of 3-ply yarn
and a size H crochet hook. Seating is limited to 12 spaces and sign up is required. For

Basics of Personal Finance (Fundamentos de las Finanzas Personales)
This month at the Pink Hill and Kinston-Lenoir County Public Libraries, Lee
Albritton will be hosting a special presentation for our Spanish-speaking patrons on the
basics of personal finance. This workshop will be held at the Kinston-Lenoir County
Public Library on Friday, September 20 at 3 p.m., and at the Pink Hill Library on

Camping Basics for Beginners- Wednesday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m.
For anyone who wants to experience the great outdoors, come to the Kinston-Lenoir
County Public Library and let us show you the basics of camping from a
professional park ranger. Autumn Hamm of the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park will
instruct you on how to get started, what kind of supplies and materials you will need,
and where some of the best camping spots in the state are located. For more

Learn to Hike: Start with the Basics- Wednesday, September 11 at 4:00 p.m.
Want to start a new outdoor hobby or activity for yourself or your family? Join us at the
Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library for our Hiking Basics workshop, led by
professional park ranger Autumn Hamm of the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park. Learn the
best hiking trails to explore throughout the state, as well as tips and advice on how to
stay safe by identifying the different plants, animals and insects that may cross your
