In celebration of National Volunteer Week, the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library held a ceremony recognizing volunteers who offered their time and energy during the previous year.  "The Library is always happy to be able to recognize these selfless individuals who have made the Library a better place for all of Kinston and Lenoir County's citizens to enjoy," said Agnes W. Ho, Director of Libraries. For more information on volunteering at the Library, please call (252) 527-7066, Ext. 134.

Boccetti Book Dedication
The Library is dedicating a book in its collection to the memory of Mr. Louis G. Boccetti. In addition to being a frequent Library patron and regular attendee of Library programming, Mr. Boccetti volunteered for the Library for several years. Library staff and patrons alike benefited from knowing Mr. Boccetti, and he is greatly missed. Pictured is Mr. Boccetti's wife, Mrs. Daisy Boccetti, being presented with the book The New Encyclopedia of Southern Culture: Literature by Agnes W. Ho, Director of Libraries.
