Many patrons place books or other library materials in the Library's collection in honor of family or friends, in memory of loved ones, or to commemorate special events.  These gifts provide thoughtful and enduring memories for generations of patrons.  Gifts may be the monetary value of the material desired or an actual item for the collection. Items are then marked with a special book plate. A booklet listing gifts and donations is published annually. If you would like to honor or remember someone or an event in this way, please inquire at the Circulation Desk of Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library, at any branch library, or call 527-7066, extension 135.
