The Neuse Regional Library System is offering a special promotion this summer to inspire local students and their parents to spend their summer exploring the joys of reading at their Library. All Children’s and Young Adult books and audiobooks checked out between June 1 and August 31 will be fine free.
These materials are available at the eight locations of the Neuse Regional Library System, including the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library, the La Grange Public Library, and the Pink Hill Public Library in Lenoir County; the Greene County Public Library; and the Comfort Public Library, Maysville Public Library, Pollocksville Public Library, and Trenton Public Library in Jones County.
“Reading at an early age provides enjoyment, stimulates learning, and has an incredible number of benefits that will last a lifetime,” said Agnes Ho, Director of Libraries. “We greatly anticipate this opportunity to encourage children and their parents to spend this summer checking out and reading as many books as possible without worrying about fines.”
