Happening this month at the Pink Hill Public Library

Teen Literary Film Festival – 5:00 p.m.
Read the book, and watch the movie.
We will be watching and discussing the similarities and differences between the literary work
and the screen versions of a series of titles. After each screening, participants will be able to
create their own movie poster!

August 23 – Life of Pi

Back-to-School Bash – Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m.
Enjoy games, food, contests and prizes at our 4th annual Back-to-School Bash. Children who
attend receive a back pack with school supplies to get them started for the school year.

Chat’n’Chew – Tuesday, August 20 at 6:00 p.m.
Come for the food, stay for the discussion at this month’s Chat-n-Chew book club. This month
we will be reading The Dream Daughter by Diane Chamberlain.

Mum’s the Word Adult Craft – Tuesday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Join us as we make Fall inspired paper quilled MUM pendants. All supplies will be provided
and sign up is required so please call the Library to register.
