Want to talk more about how science affects our daily lives while reading popular novels? During the months of April and May, the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library will participate in Pushing the Limits, a four-part discussion series on how science plays a role in several books by bestselling authors. Books will be available on April 1 and will be discussed on the following Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.:
April 15 – The Land of Painted Caves by Jean Auel
April 29 – Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler
May 13 – Thunderstruck by Erik Larson
May 27 – When the Killing’s Done by T.C. Boyle
Pushing the Limits is a reading, viewing and discussion program for adults in communities served by rural libraries, made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
