In April & May

Want to talk more about how science affects our daily lives while reading popular novels? During the months of April and May, the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library will participate in Pushing the Limits, a four-part discussion series on how science plays a role in several books by bestselling authors. Books will be available on April 1 and will be discussed on the following Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.:

April 15 The Land of Painted Caves by Jean Auel
April 29 Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler
May 13 Thunderstruck by Erik Larson
May 27 When the Killing’s Done by T.C. Boyle

Pushing the Limits is a reading, viewing and discussion program for adults in communities served by rural libraries, made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
