Beginning in February 2006, a community-based planning committee met and helped develop a five-year strategic plan for the Neuse Regional Library. A library staff committee provided input and feedback to the community planning committee throughout the process. The final plan is a combination of ideas and effort by the community planning committee, the library staff committee, and library consultant, Dr. Robert Burgin.
