New Teen Programs Offered at Library

Are you a teenager looking for new activities and a place to relax? The Library is the perfect place to kickback and enjoy free, quality programming for teens.

Beginning February 4 at 4:00 p.m., there will be a Movie Club at the  Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library. Each month teens will gather in either the Schechter Auditorium or the Children’s Theater for a movie and general peer interaction. The regular time for this program will be the first first Saturday of the month at 3:00 p.m.

On February 25 at 3:00 p.m., young adults can get their creativity going with Crafty Teens. Each month there will be a new project to create and take home. For February, we’ll be making decoupage frames with collages from magazines.

Also beginning in February, Monday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. will be Monday Teen Time. This is a free flowing program in which teens can drop in at anytime. We’ll have video games, board games, craft projects, black out poetry, and retro cartoons but each Monday will be different.
