JONES COUNTY FORMS FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY GROUP

TRENTON, NC – The Jones County Library Board of Directors is forming a Friends of the Library group to support the libraries in Trenton, Pollocksville, Maysville, and Comfort.

 

Friends of the Library are volunteers who advocate for the libraries and help advance the mission and services of the Library.  The Friends sponsor adult and children’s programming and special projects with money gained through membership dues and fundraising events.

 

Jones County citizens who would like to become involved in the new group and support the libraries are encouraged to complete a Friends of the Library survey at their local library.
