LIBRARY OFFERS ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS

Kinston, NC – Patrons of the libraries of the Neuse Regional Library System are able to access their library accounts online.

 

This access allows users to check which books they have out, renew books before they are overdue, and place holds.  The account also shows any fines, overdue materials, and arrived holds.  Patron information such as address and phone number is also listed on the screen so that it can be checked for accuracy.

 

In order to participate, people must come in or call the Library to set up their Personal Identification Number (PIN).  This number is chosen by the customer and cannot be viewed by library employees.  The PIN can also be changed online once the patron gets home.
