Come hear some classics like you’ve never heard them before! Covering material from Duke Ellington to Sinatra, from country to bossa nova to folk, Kinston native Ron Fletcher will sing and play trombone, sax, and acoustic guitar on Sunday, July 30 at 3:00 p.m. in the Schechter Auditorium of the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library, with the assistance of his son Nick Fletcher. Ron moved to Kinston from Milwaukee forty years ago to be pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, and since then he has played in several bands and has sat in with other renowned acts such as the Monitors and Stan Pearson.
