  • I needed some reinforcement in my home base business. I always check on the library from time to time, just to see what they have to offer. I was happy to see a program on entrepreneur. You know there is always room for improvements. To me, this was a program to re energize what I already had. One thing that stuck with me was the best time to reach out to people on social media, which is 9am, 6pm and 9pm and it works. So hats off to Jennifer, thanks.

  • I began coming to the library in 2012. Immediately I was welcomed and informed about the services that was available to me. On my first day I got my library card. I then was educated about the many helpful much needed services the library provided. The story time for toddlers and the children’s room was where I frequent for 5 years. The services were so so helpful and much needed. When I purchased my first house the reference staff were AWESOME. All the staff and services I appreciate. Thank you.

  • The library has impacted my life in several ways. Initially I began frequenting the library for books to read and doing research for class assignments. Lately I’ve been attending workshops on starting my own business, creating a vision board and a financial literacy class. I believe public libraries are vital to the community. They provide a place for you to gain knowledge and utilize the internet for those who may not be able to afford it or live in rural areas.

  • I’ve had a relationship with the library for over 45 years; from the caswell street site and the book mobile. I always like reading and attending the library. I enjoyed coming here to utilize the private rooms for devoted study. I have attended informative workshops as well as participate in events. I like the fact the library stays relevant with current affairs, new authors and book signings. I’ve introduced my children to reading at the library, we can always come here as a family!

  • I like attending the local library because I am able to get materials to enhance my knowledge through biblical teachings and by refreshers , books, and other materials from the computer. I also like the library because I can come and read the different news about current and passed events, also black News, and community daily news as well. I also like being able to go into one of the reserved rooms for privacy to complete any work assignments, and just general readings.

  • Hats off to the new and improved Library. We the people of Lenoir County are fortunate to have one of the greatest blessings in our library, Director Melanie Morgan and the staff. They are passionate in their job and in helping citizens in the community. They have warm hearts, they reach out to the public. They are generous to go the distance with a one-on-one relationships with the public. The Library is a place where you get to know new people. The Teen Area is Amazing. Thank you to the staff.

  • As a kid growing up in the early 1970s, the Lenoir County Bookmobile ranked right up there with going to the corner store for ice cream. I couldn’t wait to see the Bookmobile on our street to get new books. As an adult, going to the library makes me happy. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve checked out 1000s of books. Last year was around 150 books which would cost $3750.00. The library has saved me a lot of money over the years especially as I use the Hotspots for home internet access.
