400 Years of African-American History

Join us at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library on Wednesday, February 12 at 6 p.m. for a special Black History Month presentation by Dr. David Dennard, the Director of the African and African American Studies Program at East Carolina University. This presentation will offer a broad survey lesson on 400 years of African American history and the introduction of a new possible plan for the future. Come hear a triumphant story of multifaceted resistance, rebellion, adjustment, accommodation and unheralded success.
