Beekeeping with Lynn Davenport

Our featured program for March will be Beekeeping led by local beekeeper, Lynn Davenport. Join us on Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. for an in depth look into facts about honeybees and the pests and diseases that affect them. We will talk about the life of honeybees, pollination, and their importance. An overview of working with honeybees and what is involved in the keeping of bees and their colonies will be provided. The discussion will conclude with supplies and equipment that are recommended for beekeeping as well as a local honey taste sampling.
