Prehistoric Seas: Mosasaurs, Pliosaurs, and Plesiosaurs, Oh My!
Join us at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library to enjoy Prehistoric Seas: Mosasaurs, Pliosaurs, and Plesiosaurs, Oh My! presented by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Before taking over the land, life began in the oceans. Eventually, some animals found their way back to the water. On this prehistoric maritime expedition, participants will learn why plesiosaurs had such long necks, how one group of dinosaurs took to the waves, and what modern lizard has a surprisingly aquatic past! This engaging, interactive presentation is the final program for the Adult Summer Reading series, and participants will receive an entry into the grand prize drawing.
